I might get this and modify a little so it is more custom, but is scale enough to use 1:600 schabaks?

I just use the Herpa GSE for my airport. The Herpa airbridges are too big! But I think the terminal as its own is OK.

I have only some Herpa gangways and GSE and indeed agree gangways a little too high up, but noticed they exist in two different hights - the taller can be used with (as also the stairways) older larger "silver wheel" models and though have not attempted, suppose both gangways and tall stairways could be cut shorter? The problem are the smaller newer (lowered landing gear) models such as B737, which will not fit neither gangways, stairways, nor catering vans. As for the rest of Herpa GSE one doesn't notice size difference. Glad to read that buildings also ok for 1/600 but read somewhere that they are almost impossible to assemble? Anyway shall wait for someone to sell off some cheaply - one (in my mind) pays way too much for Herpa accessories!

So should I modify the height of the Air bridges somehow?

If it is the gangways from Herpa accessories set V, they are flexible (can be lowered) just beyond the the middle turning point, so all I did was cut off the front support (w.wheels), shorten it a bit and glue it back on. Then the gangway itself can be lowered to fit without touching the hight of rear and middle support - in which case I guess they would not fit into building gap (I do not have the buildigs, so ....). Good luck!

I made various 1:600 vehicles using autodesk autocad for printing in paper/cartulina duplex (I don`t know how to say this kind of paper in english). So I get surprised when I`ve seen the size difference comparing with the 1:500 accesories. I`m trying to make the gangways but I`have the problem that I can`t find the real measures in the web or any architecture book, Any idea about the gangways?
scale 1:500
1 centimeter = 5 meters
0.2 centimeter= 1 meter
Scale 1:600
1 centimeter = 6 meters
0.15 centimeter= 1 meter

That`s why I`m surprise about the difference in size comparing 1:500 and 1:600 accesories

Luckily both buses, trucks, vans, tractors etc all in reality come in various lenghts so the difference does not really appear that big - a 3m long van is afterall 0.6cm long in 1/500 instead of 0.5 in 1/600 so wonder that your custommade appear that different - would love to see some photos as I do not understand how you make them. As for gangways they too come in various sizes - at least notice various different types around airports. Why not take a Herpa as example and then simply downsize the measurements?
Wikipedia appear to have some references under "Jet Bridge".

The Cessna on the herpa accesories is the same lenght than 1:600 model.
