Of course England had to make it difficult for themselves and end up meeting the old enemy (cue much Fawlty Towers goosestepping and 'don't mention the war' nonsense from the papers). England should be more than capable of beating Deutschland but they probably won't . Oh well I expect I'll be up at 2am to see it!

Germany were clearly the better team but at 2:2 I don't think the score would have ended up 4:2. The Germans could have just as easily crumbled after the break having lost a 2 goal lead. So in my opinion the ref ruined the game. Who can say what might have been? But fair play to the Germans they certainly made the most of the game and England hadn't played well in any of their World Cup matches.

The Germans have been the best team of the tournament so far and in some ways it'd be a crime if they didn't win it, however despite that I still can't bring myself to support them .
I love Germany but not at fussball - c'mon the Spaniards or preferably the Dutch!

To many respect of our team was the key for Spain .
Spain was acting .. we only reacting.. thats to less to win such game.
Our defence was pretty good, but cannot happend complete 90 minutes ...
Guess, also "with Müller" it where not even better run...
Compliment, Spain has shown who is the real champion !
