Quite a time... I do recall our first meeting at FRA around 1989 when it was just easy to take visitors onto the ramp. Is "Wehrheim" the small airfield near Friedberg where the annual "Aviation Day" takes place? If my memory serves me correctly, I visited your sales booth there some years later... around 1991 maybe.

So many things have happened in our beloved hobby. Schabak came and passed by, Herpa took over the 1/500 scale and became a real power in the scale model market, the 1/400 lines were established and are still developing and, finally, 1/200 revolutionized the market and the collectorate. What a dynamic hobby, indeed.

Well, what can I say? Looking forward to the next 30 years! :cool:

I personally have a little jubilee as well:
On June 1st, 1990 (I asked my mother to look up the day in her diary :wink:) we were on our way home from a family visit in Japan. We arrived a bit early at Osaka International Airport (nowadays Itami airport) and were sitting in the airport restaurant looking at the traffic on the ramp. That's when my interest in aviation began... 20 years ago! :smile:
